L&rsquo;<strong>OB\u00c9SIT\u00c9<\/strong> dans le monde a doubl\u00e9 en moins de 10 ans. Selon le Bureau r\u00e9gional europ\u00e9en de l&rsquo;<strong>OMS<\/strong>, une <strong>AUGMENTATION<\/strong> sans pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent de l&rsquo;<strong>OB\u00c9SIT\u00c9<\/strong> est estim\u00e9e dans toute l&rsquo;<strong>EUROPE<\/strong>, avec des pr\u00e9visions catastrophiques pour 2030, 60 % des femmes et 70 % des hommes seront en <strong>SURPOIDS<\/strong>, et un <strong>TIERS<\/strong> sera <strong>OB\u00c8SE<\/strong>. En <strong>ESPAGNE<\/strong>, on estime que 80 % des hommes et pr\u00e8s de 60 % des femmes seront en <strong>SURPOIDS<\/strong> et que 36 et 21 %, respectivement, seront <strong>OB\u00c8S<\/strong>. Dans certains pays comme l&rsquo;Irlande, les pr\u00e9visions sont encore pires, avec une pr\u00e9valence estim\u00e9e de surpoids \u00e0 90 % et la moiti\u00e9 sera ob\u00e8se. Concernant le <strong>DIAB\u00c8TE<\/strong>, on estime qu&rsquo;il y a 400 millions de patients diab\u00e9tiques dans le monde, dont 90 % sont de <strong>TYPE 2<\/strong> \u2013 associ\u00e9 \u00e0 l&rsquo;<strong>OB\u00c9SIT\u00c9<\/strong>. Dans certains pays voisins comme le <strong>ROYAUME-UNI<\/strong>, le co\u00fbt sanitaire du probl\u00e8me du <strong>SURPOIDS<\/strong> a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9valu\u00e9 \u00e0 6 <strong>MILLIARDS ET DEMI<\/strong> de livres par an, mais une <strong>augmentation<\/strong> allant jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 10 <strong>MILLIARDS<\/strong> de livres par an est attendue en 2025 (pr\u00e8s de 12 <strong>MILLIARDS EUROS<\/strong>) . Le co\u00fbt estim\u00e9 du <strong>DIAB\u00c8TE<\/strong> passera de 2,2 <strong>MILLIARDS<\/strong> \u00e0 pr\u00e8s de 4 <strong>MILLIARDS<\/strong> de livres par an.
